Launches, activationsWhat we bring, what we need.
- The unit
- An octagon sound bed, 12 to 16 ft flat to flat, eight wedges, 33 tactile transducers, two amplifiers, one audio interface, a computer running AVA OS, a projector or LED wall and a dark enclosure or dome for the visuals. Smaller half-bed builds available for tight footprints.
- Footprint
- Minimum 20 by 20 ft (6 by 6 m) with 10 ft (3 m) clearance for projection. A tent, dome, shipping container, gallery or ballroom all work. Ideal: 25 by 25 ft with blackout.
- Power
- One dedicated 15 A / 120 V circuit (or 230 V / 10 A) for the bed. A second circuit for projection and lighting. Under 900 W total for the bed at full signal.
- Load-in
- Two people, two to three hours in, ninety minutes out. Fits a cargo van or a single sprinter. Freight or fly-in available for international dates.
- Sound
- Vibration is delivered through the bed, not the air. We run quiet enough to sit next to a stage. Our own monitoring mix or a feed from your FOH for live sets.
- Staff
- One AVA host minimum, two for 8 hour plus days. We handle queue, briefing, cover swaps and the stop button. Your event provides one steward for crowd flow.
- Safety
- Vibration and volume hard-limited in software. Posted contraindications (pregnancy, pacemakers and implanted cardiac devices, recent spinal surgery, active seizure disorders). Sanitary covers swapped every group.
- Insurance
- Certificate of insurance on request. We have run indoors and outdoors, day and night.

How many people can go through in a day?
Drop-in format: about 12 an hour, so 100 to 140 across a festival day. Programmed sets: eight people per set, as many sets as the schedule allows.
Does it need to be quiet around it?
No. The vibration is felt through the body, and the visuals carry the mood. We have run next to stages. A dark enclosure helps the visuals more than silence helps the sound.
Can our artists play it?
Yes. Any DJ or live act can send us a feed. Tracks are tuned live by our host. Artists who want a full authored visual world for a record can book that in advance.
Is it weatherproof?
It runs outdoors under cover. We need a dry floor, a tent or dome, and blackout for the visuals after dusk.
Do you do sponsorships?
Yes. Audio, beverage, wellness and fashion brands have sponsored rooms. The room, the visuals and The Print all take a brand layer without losing the experience.
Where have you run?
Brooklyn, at 29 Nassau Ave, weekly. Festival and museum dates are announced on the calendar.
